The BuildFlow maintenance console features a GCODE terminal where you can enter custom GCODE commands to control your 3D printer.
1. To use the GCODE terminal, access the maintenance console for the printer you wish to control. If you cannot see the maintenance button you have not been granted the right to perform printer maintenance by your Enterprise Administrator
2. Select the 'MAINTENANCE' tab, where you will find the GCODE terminal underneath the Z Calibration tool.
Some common commands/uses include:
- Manual Z-Offset calibration
M851 (Returns the current Z-Offset value)
M851 Z10 (Will set the Z-Offset value to whatever number comes after 'Z')
M500 (Saves settings to memory)
M501 (Reads settings from memory to confirm they have been saved)
- Check firmware version
M115 (Get firmware version)
Check our article on upgrading your printers firmware to see if yours is up to date.
M119 (Reports limit switch status)

'C' is the number of cycles and 'U1' will save the settings once the
tune has finished.)
