How To: Print directly from a computer
We cannot support Cura. Any fault caused by the use of this software is not covered by our warranty.
If using Cura, make sure your computer is not set to go to sleep after a certain time. If the computer sleeps, the print will fail.
If you are unable to connect your BuildBee devices to the Internet to use the supported software, you will able to use a downloaded application as temporary solution whilst the connection issues are being resolved. We recommend using Cura as it is an all-in-one solution.
There is a bit of configuration work to do first:
1. First, download the Cura software using the following link:
2. Run the installer and launch the software once it has finished.
3. You should be prompted to add a printer profile. If not, you will find it under settings > printer > add printer
4. Click on 'add a non-networked printer' and select custom > custom FFF printer
5. In the machine settings window, fill in the boxes as below (start and end GCODE is pre-filled, you may need to resize the window to view the GCODE):
6. You will need to edit the start and end GCODE for the Me2 setting.
Start GCODE

End GCODE
